  • Lifts are available in each tower and most adjacent buildings
  • All stairs provide access to ground level destinations (fire stairs only exit to ground level)
  • Building colours are Tower 1 Blue, Tower 2 Green, Tower 3 Red, Building G, and direction lines are displayed in the car park

Internet Service Options

  • ADSL: download speeds are around 6 to 8 Mbps, current providers: Telstra, Internode, TPG, IINet, Optus, OnTheNet, Primus, and, EFTel
  • Network: Southport Central has been wired for direct internet access with very high speeds by the following providers:
  • NBN: planned for second half of 2017, speeds of around 50 Mbps, replacing exiting ADSL services: more details to follow
  • Fibre: High speed symmetrical services are available from three providers: Telstra, AAPT (TPG), and Uecomm (Optus)

Fire Alarm and Evacuations

  • Units and common areas are fitted with monitored smoke detectors (except local residential unit detectors) (and any user triggered incident typically incurs a callout cost from the Fire Brigade (QFES) of around $1200)
  • The entire site is fitted with sprinklers (and care should be taken not to knock or damage the ceiling sprinkler heads)
  • Upon hearing fire alarm emergency warning alarm, immediately evacuate the building following directions from fire warden, security, or emergency personal
  • Lifts should not be used during evacuations, please use the stairs to ground level
  • Fire alarm evacuations are performed annually mid year

Moving in or out, General Details

  • Times are limited and must be outside busy car parking times
  • Hours strictly 9.15am to 4pm week days, 8am to 6pm on weekends
  • All moves must be scheduled through the Management Office a minimum 48 hours in advance
  • Truck parking reserved at the top of the outside entry or exit ramps
  • A utility type vehicle (UTE) must be used to ferry items to the lift
  • A lift needs to be locked off when moving a quantity of items
  • Height limitation including load is strictly 2.1m (as to not damage ceiling utilities)
  • Moving items in and out of ground lobbies is not permitted (contact Security for assistance)
